​The admission review process provides us with an opportunity to assess your entire academic record, including all attempted and completed courses, and grades earned. We also look beyond the classroom. Extracurricular accomplishments, special talents and awards, and life experiences are weighed to determine a student’s potential for success at Queens College.

Step 1: CUNY Application

Please complete and submit the CUNY Application:
The CUNY Application​ allows you to apply to multiple CUNY colleges with one application.

• The freshman application now requires an essay and at least one academic recommendation.
• Currently enrolled CUNY students should apply with the CUNY Application.
• Please note that the application deadlines on the CUNY website are suggested deadlines. We will continue to review applications after deadlines and will post any updates here.
• Apply to the Macaulay Honors College (Fall only).

Step 2: Supporting Documents

Freshman Information

• As a freshman applicant, you’ll need to provide us with your official high school transcript(s). Your transcript(s) should include all of the courses and grades that you’ve completed up until this point.
• The freshman application now requires an essay and at least one academic recommendation.
• If you have taken courses at a college or university during your High School year, please provide us with your official Transcript.
  • Disclaimer: We are only able to accept official transcripts sent directly to us from your college(s)

  All official domestic transcripts can be sent to:
  transcript@qc.cuny.edu, transcripts@cuny.edu, or by mail

  Foreign transcript:
  If you have a foreign transcript, please send it to transcripts@cuny.edu or by mail
  If you need to request a transcript from your foreign school:

  • Complete the international transcript request form and send it to your foreign school. They should be able to send your transcripts to CUNY either electrically or by mail.

  SpanTran , a credential evaluation service, has created a custom application for CUNY Queens students that will make sure you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate ($170 for the evaluation) . You can access their application by clicking here .

  Transfer Information

  • As a transfer applicant, you’ll need to provide us with official transcripts from each school attended. You may request your transcripts to be sent electronically or via mail to CUNY/UAPC. Below is a list of documents that applicants are asked to provide:
    • An official High School Transcript or Equivalency Diploma (ex: GED)
    • An official transcript from each college/university attended
    • An official transcript from each proprietary school attended (if applicable)

    CUNY Transcripts
    If you’re currently enrolled at CUNY, your transcripts will be retrieved automatically if you apply using your CUNYfirst account. If you attended CUNY more than ten years ago, please request a paper record.
