Beaverton School District To Offer Free Lunches Beginning June 26

BEAVERTON, OR — The Beaverton School District's Nutrition Services Department on Monday announced the start date of its Summer Meal Program is June 26.

Offering free meals to kids ages 1 to 18 years old at 18 different locations in Beaverton, the Summer Meal Program is federally funded and at some locations offered in conjunction with other scheduled summer school programs. Most sites will offer lunches Monday through Friday from June 26 to Aug. 18. Lunch times will vary across locations.

No applications or proof of residency are required. All kids and teens can enjoy the free lunches, and adults can eat for $3.50. Some schools will also offer a breakfast service Monday through Thursday.
