The Center for Addiction Studies and Research is an NAADAC/IC&RC approved distance-learning provider of education in the addiction field. NAADAC/IC&RC approved distance-learning trainings can be used to satisfy New Jersey CADC/LCADC continuing education requirements.

Trainings are provided under the NAADAC Education Provider #99236 and the NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) Education and Training Provider Certification #0559. NYS OASAS is a member board of IC&RC.

New Jersey CADC/LCADC Continuing Education Requirements and Courses

Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)

Documentation of 60 contact hours of continuing education during the biennial period preceding the application renewal including:

A maximum of 30 of the 60 hours can be completed through distance learning programs.
